watched the premiere of 'the gifted', not too good, not to good at all. the whole premise of the story, the acting and the writing....bad.

i might go one more week, but i do have much hope.

Mixed reactions to The Inhumans as well. Maybe Marvel should diversify, and work on a Forbush Man project, or a talent show with Patsy & Hedy as judges.

Ya know, with The Big Bang Theory starting to show jurassic growth, maybe the time is ripe for a soap opera involving The Merry Marvel Marching Society...?

  3. The Gifted didn't do much for me and, as much as I like the Marvel universe, I've had about enough of the whole inhuman thing. Can't say I ever wished there was another show about it.

I thought it was really well done, even without any green hair. It did in one hour well what The Inhumans did poorly in two.

Teenagers breaking out as homo-superior mutations, no gaudy costumes, a secret hideout or three... I'm in! I think this is something the non-fanatic can get into as well without knowing jack about all the 'universe' business. Legion is great too for the older viewer.

And the song playing was by The Animals.

It was nice to see Stan Lee in the first episode.

I'm in for a while. . . . Acker helps it. The two gals formerly on Gotham may help it, they aren't bad actresses.

What was he doing, desperately negotiating to get all the non-Marvel studios to give him his characters back?

You know, I didn't love it, I didn't hate it, but I thought it was OK. I'm still watching.

I kind of chuckle that you have Bill the Vampire from True Blood and the crazy hacker lady from Person of Interest in a single show, playing very nice, personable, human roles for a change. The kids are OK but nothing special, but there's a spark in the show and it's not bad. Bryan Singer is a talented guy and I liked what he did with the X Men, and this is basically the junior TV version of the same thing.

I'm enjoying the show, and it's definitely better than 95% of the rest of the pish on TV
