So I'm heading back out on the road tomorrow for another 3 week tour.

Still in total Phish mode (sorry guys...) but I'm sure there will be some Dead along the way somewhere as with last trip out :)

@wavethatflag coming back here is like coming home where as the Phish thread is like everyone yelling at each other, haha :D

This reminds me to do the research necessary to find new GD cultural mash-up memes.

That heathen dude was funny last night though, esp. the Lennon/Macca masterpiece quip about Fast Enough For You.

You say it like it’s a bad thing!

    :p

As Dylan wisely said, “when you’re tired of all this repetition... for god’s sake don’t become a Dead Head!”

Deadpod recommended 2nd set of 11/1/77:

    Terrapin> Estimated> Other One> Drums> Wharf Rat> Truckin> Around

Terrapin and Estimated are fine, but WHOAH, that is one fired-up 6 minute Other One! The transition is fierce, just about blew me out of my seat. Wharf Rat is also a unique, great version, Garcia takes his sweet time getting to the first verse. To be honest, the 11/6/77 Dave's soured me on Fall 77 for a bit because Keith bugs the hell out of me with that horrific distorted tone and blocky playing, but that is nowhere to be found here. Definitely check out the Other One to Wharf Rat.

I felt like some Betty-verb, so I busted out the GSLT box and threw on disc 1/set 1 of Boston Garden, 5/7/77.

Mostly SBD sources, but not exclusively. But they're not in the mastering/patching business, they're playing stuff either from official releases or from whatever circulating source they might choose. Not sure if they grab stuff off LMA or not or how they choose what version to play. Maybe choosing SHN ID 136694 because it's the most recent figuring it is the best?
