  1. After I saw Part 1, I had no desire to ever see Part 2.

That was a great looking film. But Joaquin Phoenix's expressions creeping around his face like plate of worm was just so unpleasant to deal with for 2-1/2 hours!

Finally got around to watching this.... great movie! QT continues to be one of my favourite filmmakers of all-time, and one of the few directors I can honestly say has never made a movie I didn't enjoy. :)

Chris from Chicago Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes

I agree. And like many of his movies, they get better as they age. Every time I watch it I enjoy it more

Watched.. Foor Rooms the other night.
Only stand out was QT's segment. Was he giving the finger to the system? :)

    It's all one movie.

Not as good as the first Bill, actually if combined the entire film complete might lose its credibility. Think QT realised that + the length factor.

I'm going to see The Master and Hateful Eight in 70mm at the Cinerama in Seattle as part of their 70mm film festival in a couple of weeks. Never seen The Master and my Hateful Eight viewing was compromised by being in a tiny theater so I'm really looking forward to both.

I think the studio made that decision.

As for me, I found it much more powerful and effective when seen as one long film. His high-water mark.

Have fun. The 70mm print looked good opening weekend, I hope the revival print isn't too abused.

I was pipe dreaming about air fare to Seattle, but it way way out of my budget, so I'll make due with an occasional trip to Queens.

Anyone interested in 70mm screenings should keep an eye on the See It Big series at the Museum Of The Moving. I just took the kids to see 2001.

    Happy viewing, Michael

  14. I know, but it was released as two movies, and I only saw part one, which was quite enough for me.

I believe there is a 70mm festival in Chicago in March, looking to do that next year. This will be my second trip to Seattle, I think it is going to become a tradition.

Been meaning to get Tarantino xx Blu Ray box 8 films, but it only goes up to Inglorious Bestards. What'a the extra disc like documentary or something?

Maybe hold out for a expanded version.

The 70mm Festival at the Music Box Theatre was June 30-July 15 this past year and was February 19-March 10 in 2016. So they do not do it annually at the same time every year. Your best bet is to subscribe to the Music Box Theatre's newsletter to receive announcements about special events.

Really good movie, although I still like most of his others better. Inglorious Basterds, Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown are three of my favorite movies ever, and I am a big fan of Django Unchained and both Kill Bill flicks as well. And of course Reservoir Dogs is really good. QT always delivers.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood should be that film. Can't see it awash in blood like The Hateful Eight more funny lite Pulp Fiction esqe. Out in 6/7 months, judge better then.
