Those look like great sets, I only have one of the albums contained in the Mobley set and tracking down each of the albums individually sounds like a hassle and likely more expensive. It was listed as a last chance item, along with the Benedetti Parker recordings, so I went ahead and ordered both. The Ahmad Jamal sample I listened to sounded pretty great but since it isn’t listed as a low stock item I decided to save it for next time when I’m ready to get the Savoy Bebop set.
I think it is just great that Lester Young is the only jazz musician honored with a national holiday. Pull out your Pres recordings today, and if you don't have any, check this out JazzWax

In another thread, I asked whether anyone had heard this and could comment on whether the AP mastering does anything to tame the excessive distortion on Byrd's trumpet I'm hearing on whatever mastering Spotify uses. Did you happen to notice the distrotion I'm talking about? (If it's as bad as the version on Spotify, I'd say you couldn't help but notice). Thanks in advance!

Looks like sharing images from Google just got a bit more difficult. The share link is now a cropped google link that won't show up in the post. If anyone knows a remedy, please share. Well, these past couple of days I've been listening to Mulligan's Night Lights and the Jazz Messengers' Night In Tunisia.
I noticed that too, what type of device do you usually post from? I’m mostly posting from Safari on my iPhone so I could help you if that’s how you’re posting. I posted once from my laptop the other day and noticed that I also had to do something different in order to get a useable image but I’d have to try it again as I don’t quite remember what I did.
I think it might be a google thing bc I had the same problem both windows and apple machines. Going to try the yahoo link to see if that works. Edit: Yep, it works. Thanks @NorthNY Mark
JK, I know what yahoo is, but a “Mulligan”? I for real don’t know what that is. I meant “what’s yahoo” as in the sense of “yahoo? That’s so 2004”.
