I happened to get lucky a couple days ago, scored these cd's at the local mom and pop thrift store:

    Sunwheel Dance-Bruce Cockburn
    Who Came First-Pete Townshend
    Heavy Weather-Weather Report
Eric Is Here-Eric Burdon and the Animals

I'm used to seeing the usual overpressed 90's rock and country (the Columbia label is bad about that); these however went right into the old personal collection-heh, along with a dozen others!

Just picked up 58 India traditional CDs... for free! 45 or so are brand new, still in plastic wrap. The family was just giving them away along with tons of other STUFF... guess they were moving. They had a whole driveway full of 'Free Stuff'. It was a 'FEEDING FRENZY!! LOL. Crazy. The CDs were in the bottom of a box stuffed with cloths in the middle of the pile of boxes in the driveway.

India music is some pretty heavy stuff. Not my thing. But a few, so far (to my tastes), are keepers for sure. It's way-out-there music, a lot of sitar, twanging, etc. Traditional.

I'm going to find an 'India' type store somewhere and just give them all the CDs for resale - except for 8 to 10 or so I'm keeping.

Got 4 pretty far out real India posters too. And a brand new Land's End white 100% cotton shirt that's cool as air conditioning and fit's like a champ! A really comfortable shirt!
