Let's hope they are as excited as we are for them to continue, and that is reflected in some creative writing!

I tried this show again on Hulu. Every time Phil does something incredibly stupid and/or selfish, I have to turn it off. I just turned it off again after Phil pushed Todd's sculpture into the fire. I doubt I'll turn it on again. I did really like the first few episodes.

Yeah, like whenever I watched "The Andy Griffith Show" I always had to turn it off when Barney did incorrect police work. So terrible.

When I was in England they had previews for the new season. It played a lot. If someone from the UK can post, it starts something like August 9 or something like that. Like... today?!

It's weird that they' haven't announced season 1 on Blu-ray yet.

I wonder if they're going to wait until at least 3 seasons are in the can or however many.

Wouldn't they be bound by what their audience would buy? Remember there are no cast members under 35. That would mean few if any "kids" watch the program. They don't see themselves onscreen And since we don't have or want blue-ray-based game machines, many of us old people haven't bothered to upgrade.

Besides, blue-ray is so last decade. Young people stream exclusively.

I wish you luck with your campaign. I'm not trying to be a jerk, just trying to support my idea - DVDs would sell to enough of the people who watch, to justify making them available. Blue-rays won't - that market segment only buys games on disc anymore. They stream their movies, and television series.

Aquarius does have a fan-base among the young in spite of being a "period drama" slanted toward an older audience. What did they do to capture their viewership? They released the entire first season for streaming, on the day the first program aired on traditional TV broadcast outlets. They have been renewed for a second season largely due to satisfying that streaming group who prefer to watch show after show, no waiting. A streaming gamble paid off. They saw the pattern and gave the streamers what was wanted - and that got them renewed.

I want the best pq & aq possible and that's what Blu-ray offers. So in my book it's definitely not "last decade".

I understand that, and I wish you luck. I'm just trying to represent the upcoming youth market as they are - they stream. They want to be able to watch anytime, and anywhere. They value that over all else.

I think that's what happened to blue-ray's demand, and therefore DVD release only on disc (for the oldsters) for this show. Market demographics say DVD and streams.

I do still hope that you get what you want in terms of first quality picture and sound. Maybe they will be able to justify a blue-ray release when they box up seasons 1 through 7 down the road.
