I watched most of it I think. It was thrown off by football, so I kept turning it over until I saw the guy in the space suit and the other guy. I'll do On Demand to see what I missed as well.

Loved the jeans Pat made for Gale. Also got a kick out of them blowing up the Santa Monica Pier with a rocket launcher.

No comments here for awhile. I think I'm still one back, but I watched two episodes last night (first two where they are in the office building) and thought they were very funny. The montage of Tandy trying to get Lewis to go to Seattle that ended with Tandy whipping out the taser had me cracking up. And I like how Melissa is going a bit nuts. The Shawshank Redemption role-play she was doing with Todd was fun.

I love this show, but really hate the Mary Steenburgen character. I'm finding that I'm generally skipping over her scenes.

Painful to watch at times & for the most part not funny but for some reason I'm still watching it

I thought that first season was interesting but its hard to watch now. It's really gone downhill in my opinion.

Well, that may or may not be a problem any longer. . . .

I still think it's a good show, enjoy each episode. Just absurd, which is okay with me.

You need a little bit of absurdity, every now and again. Right?

My only complaint is that Tandy's eyebrows are driving me crazy. He looks like a human muppet.

I admit I love the eyebrows. They still make me laugh every time I see them.

The show has a Gilligan's-Island-type pleasantness that's somewhat refreshing at a time when everyone (fact and fiction) seems to be rude, in your face, hostile, intractable, opinionated, inconsiderate, loud, accusatory, violent, uncouth, etc.

...or as pleasant as they can be considering that every character is a self-centered d-bag.

The network must be keeping it on life-support...it's appealing to the 'safety-pinners' now, apparently.

  24. I'm still watching, I don't know what a safety-pinner is but maybe I'm one. Don't you guys have anything better to do than criticize a show you don't watch? Last night's episode was great.

I'm usually not a big fan of Kristin Wiig, but I thought she handled a difficult role - she had to do most of it by herself with no one to play off of (other than a dog) - quite well. I didn't want to laugh, but I did. Her descent into depression, like "Tandy" in the first season, was both poignant and funny. I wonder if she will be a regular or if that was just a one-off (like Will Farrell).

I think the show has done a decent job of staying fresh within a fairly narrow premise. I know others may not like it, but that's no reason to insult (directly or indirectly) those who do.
