yes! the DVD looks great as well...both versions...I really enjoyed the colorized version.
I love this movie! fun all the way...
Raiders Of The Lost Ark
Temple Of Doom
Star Wars - Episode IV on Blu Ray, it's been a very long time since I watched this movie, the magic is still there in parts 4/5. Nice cameo by Wall-E….
Queen Margot. Very solid movie, much much better than other "queen" movies like Queen Elizabeth (with Kate Blanchett). In French (as it should be) with English subtitles.
Elvis On Tour
A Hard Day's Night
-- Great New Year's Eve double bill !
PAULY SHORE STANDS ALONE - Surprisingly interesting and touching doc about a middle-aged Pauly Shore
doing a stand-up tour of Wisconsin, coming to terms with his place in the world and mother in declining health.
"Guardians Of The Galaxy"
The Enemy Below (1957)
I'm pretty sure that watching this movie will upset and anger me to no end.
At the minimum, the killer whale ain't no fish. Of course, I'm assuming the title of the documentary refers to the killer whale.
Last movie I watched was a 2013 Chinese rom-com titled "Finding Mr. Right". Saw it last night on TV....alone. Sad, isn't it? Anyway, the movie was kind of predictable. I googled the movie and apparently it was a monster hit in China (US$5 million production going on to earn US$85 million). About a pregnant and materialistic mistress of a Chinese rich guy (heard but never seen in the movie) who send her to give birth in the US (movie was shot in Vancouver and New York). Female lead of the movie, Tang Wei, is very charismatic and will be the female lead in the upcoming US feature "Blackhat".
Guardians of The Galaxy.
Up. The first 10 minutes is possibly the greatest sequence in cinema history. In fact, it's so good you have to watch the film at least twice to get over the beginning and get into the story.
The Theory Of Everything.
Hobson's Choice (1954/Criterion) Loved it!
"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" tonight.
Not bad, not outstanding.
The Hundred Foot Journey and The Grand Budapest Hotel on New Year's Day.
Pretty darn good.
Saw two tonight;
Big Eyes--No killing, no blood, no sex, very few curse words and still a pretty good movie
And then we snuck into Horrible Bosses 2--really funny
