The Uncanny (1977) - anthology horror flick featuring cats, Peter Cushing & Ray Milland star in the linking material between the tales. Not up to the standards of Amicus films, the genre was really creaking by 1977, but Cushing's involvement made it worthwhile to me.

DOLPHIN TALE 2 - Never saw the first one, but thought this was a pleasant enough, interesting family film that didn't
necessarily pander to the kiddies. Interested to see how a dolphin rescue/rehab center works, and refreshing to see a film
aimed at kids that devoid of bathroom humor. Nice to see a nice movie about nice people being nice to each other for a change.

'2o,000 Days on Earth' (2014) - the Nick Cave fictionalised documentary. Didn't convert me to Cave's latest music but a very interesting film nonetheless.

I watched Monster with Charlize Theron last night. I hadn't seen it before.

After that I watched Asylum. Predicable .

THE EQUALIZER - Liked it quite a bit. Stylish mix of DEATH WISH and TAXI DRIVER that almost acts as a prologue to the
original series. I never watched the show, so as far as I know only the character's name and notion of a vigilante do-gooder
link the old and the new versions.

I liked them both a lot more than I remember from when I saw them way back when. Danielle Harris really holds them together. I usually cringe when kid actors "act" but she is great in both.

The Skeleton Twins. I thought Hader and Wiig were excellent and I liked the film.
