THE BRAIN EATERS - Early AIP cheapie about an alien invasion of a small town. Very BODY SNATCHERS.
Passable short fluff, with Leonard Nimoy in a brief cameo as a long-bearded wise man.

The Godfather-Part II. The Coppola restoration on blu ray. Lovely.

At the same time into season three of the Sopranos rewatch and the last episodes of Boardwalk Empire. Gangster noir.

The best bits are where Waters and Gilmour are forced to say nice things about each other. Funniest bit where Waters says he would have eventually sang Have a Cigar better than Roy Harper if he'd had the time.

"Obvious Child" - I love Jenny Slate, and I'll check out anything featuring her.

It was interesting. I remember when it came out, but only just got around to seeing it.

Wolfen is a really interesting, unique film. The only fictional film directed by Michael Wadleigh, who was the director of the Woodstock documentary.

I love Wolfen. One of my faves.

Hide Your Smiling Faces—one of the best things I've seen in the last decade. Pretty much everything I love about movie making.

Fury, steals a bit from lots of war movies, but held my attention, action sequences were good...nothing you haven't seen before...

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (1986) - Director's Cut

I loved this at the time, but haven't watched it much since it hit cable in the late 80s. Watching the Director's Cut, I was surprised how dark and
kinda depressing I found it this time out, in terms of overall tone. Not having seen the theatrical version in so long, I'm not sure if that bleak tone
was more present in the director's cut, or if I was just less sensitive to it when I was 12. Music, performances and effects were still great though, and
the alternate ending was really well done. Would love to see how that plays in a theater.

Great film. Always liked it a bit more than the sequel.
