Watched The Loved One : The Michael Hutchence Story (2004). One of those documentaries where they can't afford to pay for the music. No INXS but Max Q and Michael solo. They interviewed all the right people (Ollie Olsen, Chris Thomas, Kel Hutchence, the guy who produced the solo album and INXS' manager). Much more interesting than it should have been.

Well, of course you'd like a guy named Michael :D

I'm a fan of his, too. Nice to see him back in a leading role.

Last Friday was my first time watching it. It's truly just as good, if not better than Night of the Living Dead. I can't believe I had the DVD sitting on my shelf for almost a year without even touching it!

What a mess, though I loved listening to the music when it came on (and seeing the Bonzos).
Reminded me of a really bad Monty Python program, very unfocused and kinda of random (MMT, not Monty Python)....though kinda of gutsy in it's way (not successful though)
I could go a long time without seeing that again (and I am a huge Beatles fan)

It made me wish they would have filmed the making of the white album..

Just watched this one, thought it was pretty good.... several gory kills, a few plot twists.... one of the better "home invasion" flicks I've seen.
Apparently it's part of a sub-genre called "mumblegore" which I had never heard of until now.

The copious amounts of female nudity and lesbian sex didn't hurt, either ;)

We watched The Best Offer last night starring Geoffrey Rush. Didn't do too well with the critical types, but we really liked it. It's another one that fits in the camp, "not for everyone" but a little gem nonetheless.
