I almost posted this in another thread, but I'd rather not clutter it up with a discussion (and some questions about the legal settlements) that I've been meaning to have for some time. (I was just in the process of starting such a thread the very night that the new 'Immersion/Experience' box sets were discovered on Amazon.) And seeing all these last "real" Who and Genesis albums polls just now -- has given me an idea to expand on my original post, my other idea for a thread, and include a poll). First, what I nearly posted in the "Roger tours The Wall" thread. Stunning photos, thanks for sharing them! I haven't really followed Roger's Wall tour very closely, but seeing all these photos -- I'm reminded that I think it's a good thing that Roger owns "The Wall" outright (as I believe was part of the settlement of the lawsuits in 1987). The Wall is such a "Roger" project -- clearly so personal to him, as I'm reminded from these photos -- that it really deserves to be something he has entire control of. And it seems like a fair exchange for Dave to have continued, with Nick and Rick (first as a sideman on MLOR, then as a full member again later with the new material from "La Carrera Panamericana" and then "Division Bell"). ================================================ Does anybody know, does Roger presumably own "The Final Cut" in the same way as "The Wall"?? I can't imagine he doesn't. (And I think he should.) What's the last "real" Pink Floyd album TO YOU (even if you like -- or even LOVE -- subsequent albums that have flown under the "Pink Floyd" banner.) I realize there are lots of arguments to be made, so I've tried to provide as many choices as I think there can be cases made (and combined a couple into logical groupings), and only included studio albums.
