An episode of M*A*S*H - from season 3. "Rainbow Bridge"

I used to love that show.
I watched all the episodes when I was younger,
and then later on I mostly just enjoyed the ones from the first three seasons, not liking the later ones as much. I can still remember moments from certain episodes though...like the one where Charles wasn't going to let someone get picked on for stuttering...
I had the VHS tapes of the first three or four and was looking for them last night, got my VHS set up properly and all, but couldn't find them, thinking maybe I sold them and can't remember. Oh well...
I was thinking of buying the first season on DVD before watching this episode now, esp. for the one where Hawkeye pretends to be crazy, but think I'll wait a little while on it at least...

The "demo" color pilot episode of "The Munsters", from which Fred Gwynne, Al Lewis and Beverly Owen survived the re-casting for the regular series.
Fun to see the development (and changes) from this to the final product. Joan Marshall was a sexy 'Lily', but she didn't fit the part the way Yvonne DeCarlo did.

I'm Dying Up Here, a very well-written series about up and coming comics in the 70's on Showtime. It features fictional comics interacting with real life comics like Richard Pryor, and scoring Tonight Show gigs (with Dylan Baker as Johnny!). Fantastically snarky dialogue throughout, similar to what you would see on "Louie", with the fabulous Melissa Leo as the Mitzie Shore-like mother hen to these supremely insecure standups just trying to "get the couch" (with Carson). Highly recommended.

UK two parter about an 11 yo shot dead when coming home from football practice. Ultra realistic. Subtitles essential

Happy Valley (season two) The producers set out to make a show more depressing than the UK version of Wallander and succeeded. The police are made out to be stupid, greedy and lazy (and they're the most positive characters).
