Joan Davis was fab. A much more natural physical comedian than Lucille Ball for my money (and much less annoying).
I loved Joan Davis...she killed in Abbott & Costello Hold That Ghost! we need a complete series box of I married Joan! Hold That Ghost (1941) - IMDb
The new season of Atypical, on Netflix. A brilliantly written dramedy about a kid on the autism spectrum and his family.
Bancroft (2017 miniseries) A rookie cop is sent to solve cold cases and works on a murder which might have been committed by her superior officer. Pretty bad with the case moving forward only by the most stupid coincidences seen in a drama since the 80s.
Bingeing on the one and only season of Outsourced (on Hulu). Such a sweet and yet very funny and unorthodox show, about a call center in India headed up by an American.
I watched Friends on a cable station. What I liked about Friends is that is was about friends. In the beginning it was about single people just out of college, trying to survive on their own in a big city. That was something I could relate to. Friends wasn't focused on anyone in particular who felt incomplete without a relationship and needed to have sex every single day or their life was over.
Recently Showtime ran Black Sails from start to finish and it ended last night. Fantastic, epic, storytelling!
