Discovered this oddity while looking for something on Netflix: i'm sorry (lower case intentional), created and starring the very talented and charming Andrea Savage. Savage has become somewhat of a comedy series MVP, appearing in many shows, including VEEP and most notably for me, Matt LeBlanc's Episodes. In i'm sorry she seems to be playing herself, married to the ever popular Tom Everett Scott, in a very Curb Your Enthusiam-esqe story of suburban upper-middle-class moms and raising a very inquisitive daughter (some of the questions this kid asks are not meant for a family forum). The show originates on TruTV (I don't get the channel), and it was just renewed for a second season.
Wanted season 4. Two women waiting for a bus witness a murder which is linked to big business and police corruption. Season 4 adds white slavery to the mix. Played for laughs. Very high bodycount.
Animany... Totally zany... Here's the show's name-y: ANIMANIACS ...those are the facts! (also) Ev'ry body do the Michigam Rag!
I really liked them. I have watched them through numerous times since the episodes are so short. Any Evil Dead/Army Of Darkness fan should watch them.
Young Sheldon....I think it's the best comedy currently on TV. It's actually funny unlike most of the supposedly comic shows.
Wife and I are Corries. We got to attend a live talk show tour with Beth and Sinead. They both wore Jets jerseys . I thought that was cool. Interesting discoveries about the actresses was that Beth Tinker (Lisa George) is a decent Rockabilly Artist and (wholesome) Sinead Tinker (Katie McGlynn) has usually previously been cast as a bad girl.
Mysteries of The Abandonded on the Science Channel. It’s intersting and you can drift in and out of paying attention to it.
I'd given up on Coronation Street but still I had to tune in for the shambles of the Steve & Tracy and Daniel & Sinead weddings! It may be I'll give it another chance sometime in future as I'd watched for practically a couple of decades after all (until one too many twists to the saga of Pat Phelan). The expanded set looked good and enough familiar old faces helps. Watched episode one of the new U.S. supernatural show Legacies and it was decent enough I'll want to watch episode two! Sort of a X-Men/Gifted meets Twilight I guess (not having really seen/read any Twilight).
"The World Of The Seekers" (left) - One of three TV specials they made & which are all now included on "The Seekers-The Legendary Television Specials" (right). Awesome!!! Loved it!!! It's in the PAL format with region zone "0". It would not play on my Sony Blu-Ray player but it played great on my PC. I contacted the company that released the DVD (Fanfare) about it being released in the U.S. but they told me they have no plans to do so. If you're a Seekers fan, get this DVD!!! You will love it!!! I just converted it to a digital copy & loaded it onto my iPad so I can watch it anywhere & on vacations.
