I dug it, it's not a bad start and I think it has potential to be really good. The daughter also played the murdered girl on HBO's The Night Of, which I thought was interesting.

fox seems to care about sitcoms which is great. usually they are pretty funny. the issue I have is most of these midseason sitcoms fox releases last just the 1/2 season they were brought in for and then get canned. over the last 20 years fox, imo, has had more funny sitcoms than any other network but they rarely last

I know, I'll forever mourn Freaks and Geeks (though it's not a sitcom). Although it's not entirely their fault, it's about the ratings and it's too bad that more people tune in to the low-brow garbage on CBS than giving better shows a chance. It lowers the bar everywhere.

I'm watching it. I was a little bothered by Episode 1 and the continuity issues like they get pulled over on a highway but she walks out and is in a driveway. But, Episode 2 was much better. I'm not sure it can last but I will keep watching until that happens.

I was really looking forward to this as I really like the star, but the kids are so annoying
I can't see staying with it......

Freaks and Geeks was NBC. You may be thinking of Arrested Development which, despite getting three seasons, should have lasted a lot longer. Ahead of its time, I suppose.

Acutally, I was thinking of Undeclared. But Arrested Development is definitely another one. Though I've never liked season 3 and have always thought it was a blatent grab for the low-brow loving audience.

Forgot about Undeclared, but yes, it was also not given a fair chance. AD's third season was a do-or-die proposition. Fox wanted a hit and basically gave them the choice of simplifying it or ending it. I haven't watched it in a while but I seem to recall there were some pretty sharp digs made at Fox throughout the season. They went down fighting even with their nails trimmed. I can't help but think AD would have been a massive hit today, or even just a few years after it was cancelled. (The Netflix season was kind of a disappointment, though.)

Doubt it will be as funny as "Sunny" but I will check it out. First two had moments.

So is Kaitlin Olson doing both shows now? I can't see "The Mick" lasting real long so it might not be an issue.

As long as productions don't overlap it shouldn't be an issue as long as Olson doesn't mind the schedule.

Olson is basically playing the same character in both shows.

It's Always Sunny... has a very short production schedule. An entire season is basically bashed out in a month or so.

I kinda like it. Do not usually watch these network 1/2hour shows, but this has some funny scenes.
