Here's the 2017 Stereo Mix of I'm a Believer: If the photo belongs to anyone, let me know - I found it on Google and it seemed appropriate.
I've just started a new thread (my first) but it won't allow me to add tags. Does anyone know how to do this or of a reason it won't allow me to tag it?
I love the remix 45. The vinyl is nice & Quite..No clicks or pops, And sound quality is great. Sure it would have been cool to have it included on one of the cd's..But not getting to upset over it. ( I bet it will surface on some cd compilation over time) I just hold off on to many beers before handling this nice little slab of vinyl.
That's the one. Sorry, been away for a few days (although it seemed to pick up a lot of momentum without tagging).
Thank you so much. It does sound fantastic. I never thought I'd hear this - its omission on the CDs was and is unforgivable.
Can you upload the B-side too? I'd also love to hear the Saturday's Child/You Just May Be The One vinyl single too if you have it.
Late to the party..... Unfortunately, I did not act fast enough on the Super Deluxe version of The Monkees, so I want to make a decision before it's too late.... And I apologize because I'm guessing that this information might be in this thread "somewhere".... 1) Does the Super Deluxe contain everything that the 2006 Deluxe edition included? (Between my wife & I, we already have this album on original Colgems vinyl (Mono), Arista CD, Rhino vinyl, Rhino CD & Rhino Deluxe CD - does this Super Deluxe edition "replace" the 2006 Deluxe in my collection?) 2) How does the remastering compare to prior CDs?
Okay - all the unreleased tracks here are mixes that replace those on the 2CD, exception Kicking Stones, which is only here in mono. Mastering, especially on the album proper, is great. Best this album can probably sound to be honest.
So the guitar was overloaded from the get-go. Just a so-so backing track (audio quality). Not a great vocal from Carole either. Ron
