What is the most beautiful you have ever heard in your life?

I haven’t explored enough music, so maybe my choice will seem too obvious, but... the most beautiful I’ve ever heard in my life is

    Ella Fitzgerald.

Her voice is from Heaven, that is exactly how an angel sounds like. Delicate, sweet, yet powerful and, at times, raw. One of the seven wonders of this world. She hits the notes so effortlessly and sounds naturally femenine. Beyond words, to listen to her music is guaranteed pleasure.

“Her voice is like a hug from my mom”

That's tough and for females I'll have to think awhile
Also, depends on which genre for me, not the same for me with Rock as it is with Opera
As for male classical voices in my world there's only one though

Well late 50s early 60s Elvis, of course.

Other than him, Karen Carpenter is up there. Alison Krauss might also be in the running.

Alison Krauss has to be right up there.

I'm not in love with some of her material, but man, the Voice of an Angel...

    edit:
You were just a tad quicker, thxphotog.

    Aretha Franklin.

Here's the Queen of Soul, live at the Fillmore West...backed with a crack band and joined by the great Ray Charles for the encore.

Hard to pick a favorite, but near the top of my list are Eva Cassidy (Autumn Leaves), Sade (Is it A Crime), Emmylou Harris (Goin' Back to Harlan), Sarah McLachlan (Wait).

I'll go with Sandy Denny when she was with Fairport Convention. Here is a demo she did:
