    Hello,

I recently went into one of my local independent record stores looking for anything by The Move since it can be hard to find at a fairly reasonable price. The clerk stated that he heard there will be some reissues of their studio albums happening later this year or early next year. Was wondering if anyone else was familiar with this possibly happening or if he's just making it up.

A few years back there catalog was remastered by British label Salvo. They Salvo also did a nice box set.

They did the same with Procul Harum and their catalogue was also just re-released again by the next label. So it might also happen to the Move, especially since there is a new interest in ELO at the moment.
But as can be seen with Procul Harum, the archives are empty by now, I think since the Salvo release with all those stereo mixes and rarities we more or less have it all.

Esoteric did the Procul Harum catalog in 2015 and are doing a great job! I picked up the first three titles and was very impressed. I surely will pick up the rest of the titles!

I missed out on the Salvos (got the box though). I hope they can do a really nice job on them if they are releasing them again. Would love to see their first album and Looking On get vinyl releases.

And what about Trevor Burton? Half the songs are about his acid trips anyway!

Well I would have mentioned Ace 'The Face' Kefford too.
And while we're at it better mention Rick Price. Now that's all of em.
    I think...

I also love the Move but lost interest in ELO soon after Roy Wood left.

Like the Move and the very first Electric Light Orchestra album since it still sounds Move like. After that I lost interest. Jeff needed Roy to balance him out.

Lynne was only in for two of the four albums of The Move, and the sound changed considerably when Wayne left and he joined. The Wayne era had some great singles and great covers like The Last Thing On My Mind and Goin' Back. Their main fault was that Wood was the only writer, and he was not particularly prolific.

There are only 4 Procol Harum albums on Esoteric; if you have three, there is only one more to get (and it appears unlikely that there will be more).

There will be more, you can take that too the bank! Esoteric's quality is top notch!
