The music is awesome and now the But. But, I wish Wayne wasn't trying to sing like Jeff through out the entire song. Like sing the first verse in that low register and kick in a higher vocal register/delivery making it more Nevermore. I thought at least on the last line of the bridge "I can't feel"would have been a higher octave wail.I was saying to my wife he's gotta scream at least here and he doesn't. I wonder why?IMHO.Thoughts?

EDIT; Kudos for covering that song though! Never thought TTP was something of interest to Nevermore, pretty cool though......

Much better than the 3Cd Original Album Collection with Dead Heart, Enemies and This Godless from 2015. Hopefully Century Media does more of these.

Copying my post from the Slayer Farewell thread here.

Damn - this news is only better than when an artist passes.

Motley Crue - Sabbath - Slayer .....all within 2 yrs :(

    F Me!!

Do NOT miss that San Diego show brother!

I just bought tickets for my 1st of these farewell dates.

I HAD TO buy the Onstage + M&G

Now, either I make the 5 hr drive from Portland to Blaine (Canadian border) with my wife & stay at her Aunt & Uncles while I drive 20 min further & go into Vancouver & the show.

Or, I buy a single plane ticket & hotel for the night.

I could not pass up the chance to see the entire show from the stage & Meet these dudes....one last time.

Hammerheart Records is reissuing the 2nd and 3rd albums from the old UK band Sacrilege next month. Digital versions are available to buy through Bandcamp. I took a chance on "Within the Prophecy" for $6 on FLAC. Unfortunately it's a bit compressed and boosted and sounds like it was mastered from a needledrop. I'm guessing the master tapes are lost. The Relapse reissue of their first album that came out a couple years ago was the same kinda deal.

It's unfortunate to hear that regarding the production but I may consider it.

    Gargoyle - Furebumi

Japanese progressive thrash metal from 1990. This was a great year. If I could do a top ten, it would look something like this:

    1. Secrecy - Art in Motion
    2. Mekong Delta - Dances of Death (And Other Walking Shadows)
    3. Obliveon - From This Day Forward
    4. Megadeth - Rust in Peace
    5. Artillery - By Inheritance
    6. Gargoyle - Furebumi
    7. Sadus - Swallowed in Black
    8. Psychotic Waltz - A Social Grace
    9. Forbidden - Twisted into Form
    10. Judas Priest - Painkiller

As for Furebumi, it's just one album in an incredibly eclectic and consistent discography from the band.
