I think Record Store Day recently put out an 8 1/2 reissue, but this one is the one I want.

Wow!! At a record store....that's just too much!! Wouldn't want to be the employee that priced that when the boss finds out, LOL.

Right now, I am trying to land minty vinyls of both All That You Can't Leave Behind and How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb by U2 at a reasonable price. So far, close to $300 is not a reasonable price. I don't understand why a major band like U2 has all their albums from 1993 onwards OOP.

I bought one with a missing peel on the cheap. At least the record was a VG or VG+.

Spring's S/T album. Triple gatefold sleeve. It goes for silly money.

I saw one on ebay back in the 90s, but it had a Reserve that had not been reached even though the bids had reached several thousand dollars.

I can not imagine it sounding as good as my original German mint copy on Liberty (which sounds fantastic). But still, it would be cool to have.

Awesome album! I'm also on the lookout for the re-issue but am kind of happy with the Castle cd which also has a number of 45 cuts, including Bad Girl.

    Nothing un-obtainable:

Please please me UK 45 (red label)
    McCartney's Thrillington (uk)
John Lennon's two Unfinished Lps (uk)
    The Wedding album boxset (uk)
Please please me Mono Lp (black and gold label)
    All the Christmas flexis (uk)

These are quite obtainable if you are very rich. Which I am not

These are my holy grails and I know that one day I'll have them. But then at the same time I don't want it to happen because then my collection will be finished. And then what will I do with my life ????? :yikes: :biglaugh:

My friends copy on 78 rpm used to be in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland, but I didn't notice it when I was there a few months ago, so maybe he got it back?
