Wow, when was the last time Mick brought his maracas along on tour ? It's 1964 again baby !

no way! some nerds on the internet didn't like it, so it doesn't matter what the 50,000 people who were actually there thought.

 

That sounded a million times better than the few seconds we heard of "Moonlight Mile" previously, and the song sounds much better than I would have expected in general live,and without the strings. It's a song that deals in subtleties, not easy to pull off in a large concert situation.

 

Very classy move, dedicating MM to the servicemen and women on Memorial Day weekend. Mick knows how to play the right cards.

And I think that was Karl Denson I spotted playing flute on that tune! Also looks like Matt Clifford is back out on keys for most of the show. Anyway, they nailed it.

 

Watching those clips from last night, I don't know about anyone else I think they sound great considering the source, most likely an iphone from the audience on opening night, with all the attitude and swag still very much intact! By the time they get to Buffalo they should be in full swing!

 

Maybe they'll break out Sister Morphine & You Gotta Move some during the tour.

 

I first saw them with this same band configuration, only with Billy Preston. If these clips are representative of how they sound now, I'll be very much enjoying them here in Orlando. I can't wait!

Love the band but their on auto pilot. Play some other tunes besides the 17 warhorses

 

Saw the Stones last tour, they were great - looks like they haven't lost a step in 2015.

Write some potent material, record and tour with it - and ADD GARY CLARK JR to the band -and they will hit another career arc!

 

The should sound great been playing the same tunes over and over.
