    I'm not an expert, but I'm a big fan of all of his movies. The Sacrifice is wonderful. My favorite are Andrei Rublev, Solaris and The Mirror. He's really a filmmaker that has a unique style. Even that poster for The Sacrifice shows a unique trait that you see in almost all of his movies : people standing/sitting in pools of water, which always evokes for me a sense of tactile contact with the elements, like human beings are really rooted in the earth and the soil.
