Wow! It took 5 pages before Susannah came up!
NANCY WILSON of Heart
I've got to go with this.................
Shelby Lynne - Just a Little Lovin
One hit wonder Prince protégée from the 90s made me lusty.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Mary Fahl yet!
Linda Ronstadt. Debbie Harry.
My teenage years, of course...
Oh I love me some Shelby
I have unrequited love for her for too many reasons!
I think JFK would give a nod to MM. A wink and a nod.
Now blow out the candles.
Nancy Wilson NOT of Heart.
Roberta Flack and Toni Braxton also
Seen a couple of her shows, indulged in some good face-time with her and her husband. She's a pretty woman, with a powerful, confidant, proud, passionate voice...which I cannot describe as "sexy" at. all. Make no mistake, she is one of my favorite discoveries of the past decade, and one of my favorite artists. Just cannot picture myself in "boudoir-mode", without feeling overwhelmed.
Oh, I know how to blow...just can't manage to do it with my lower jaw quivvering like this...
I imagine every piano bench asking for a cigarette after every show.
Don't miss The Absence.
Try it out: Lea Delaria:
This is sexy singing. Yes I know.
The girl next door.
Sade, no, Astrud Gilberto, no, Sade, no, Astrud Gilberto, no, Sade, no, Astrud Gilberto, no, Sade, no, Astrud Gilberto, no, Sade, no, Astrud Gilberto, no, Sade...
I guess that we all have a very different view of what constitutes sexy, but other than a single mention above, I didn't see any other mention of Roberta Flack. Maybe she doesn't have the sexiest voice, but she can sure make a tune sexy. Maybe it's that I really love this tune (and it brings me back to childhood when I was just getting to understand music), but her voice is silky and oh so very sexy to me:
Polly Jean Harvey
Lani Hall (She's the brunette in this video).
Christina Amphlett (Divinyls)
Martha Davis (Motels)
Ann Wilson (Heart)
