Totally agree with Martha Davis , so many love struck memories listening to 'The Motels', there is a wonderful diner just off I-10 near where esteemed member "Grant" lives in AZ that has a jukebox with their songs can be played while you munch on a great burger!!

Shifting to a more jazzy groove, Patricia Barber , cool, smooth, lay ya down , then Diane Schuur, Uh Huh!! I met her many years ago, she pinched my cheek, told me I was the best looking man she'd seen in a long time...she's legally blind, so she gets a mention. I asked if I could buy her a drink, she pulled a Budweiser can from her purse and said "I'm good" and to her sighted handler from Phillip Morris (her concert promoter) "Give me a copy of my new CD, which she signed... This was 10am in NYC at the Grand Hyatt where I worked. Her speaking voice is just as sexy as all get out. 1988 GRP records ~ Talkin' 'Bout You ~ Louisiana Sunday Afternoon, gets it done!! Something about folks that have not seen makes them intense in the vocals and soooo much more, so intuned, why do so many singers close their eyes when they really feel it??

Putting up Siouxsie Sioux in her later recordings, just my honest opinion, love her early stuff, she was too out there and not in her groove for me then, but what a lovely sexy voice she gifted us with in the 1990's and beyond
