Anyone pick up the Orgone mixtape? I found a copy on LP for $24 so I snagged it. Looks really nice. I'll play it soon and report.

I spun the vinyl once so far (only because I’ve been out of town after) but have been playing the digital version and absolutely love it.

It's awesome! Sounds good, material is great. The singers are good especially. This is my first Orgone record they seem like a tight band

Diggin' the new James Hunter Six as I type this...

Top shelf stuff, just like his first two Daptone albums.

I was planning to see the Boston show, but the cost of the tickets was a bit on the high side, so I had to decline.

I saw James a couple of years ago in Cambridge, and it was a dynamic, exciting show! The man is the real deal.

    So good, isn't it?!
I've spun that one so many times since getting it.
I'm looking forward to finally seeing him (and his band) live in a couple months.

I really wish Daptone would/could issue "People Gonna Talk" on vinyl. Hard to believe that it's been 12 years since I picked-up that CD.

Here's my copy of the new one:

That new Harlem Gospel Travelers 45 on Colemine is a smoker. It’s Eli Paperboy Reed with a group of teens he’s been mentoring who are on vocals and Aaron Frazer, drummer from Durand Jones and the Indications and from Flying Stars Of Brooklyn.

I'm blown away by the new Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio album. I bought it on iTunes immediately after listening to samples. I can't find physical product anywhere local or on Amazon. I ended up ordering a CD and LP (black vinyl) copy direct from Colemine.

Be sure to check out their KEXP live performance which is also being released on vinyl (limited) for RSD 2018 in April.
