Found this place when the Rolling Stones Album-by-Album thread popped up while I was googling Stones album reviews from back in the day. Then I discovered the same type of thread for the Beach Boys. And never left.

This forum has taught me so much, help me understand why one version of the same album can have such differences

I got here in 2002 and have watched this place grow and grow ever since. It's been a wonderful education. Thanks to Steve and all the folks who keep things going. Long may we run.

 

Congratulations to Steve - and all of us as well! I have learned a ton here, and I value the opinions of the "ears" on this site. Yeah, sometimes things get weird - but what family doesn't have weird from time to time? Here's to 15 more!

 

Joined in 2005 and it took about a week before it cost me money (Smithereens Mega Box). Still got the Box, still visit and post on a regular basis. Time and money (including annual donations) well spent.

 

The forum is great - I found a lot of informations from a few forum fellows. yes, and I miss the old times here, but they will never come back again.ü

Just wanted to drop by and say, I stumbled onto this board back in September of last year, but I already feel like I've been here for ages.

In a time when people don't seem to appreciate much music that isn't pop, much less discuss it in any form, I've loved the interaction I've had with the very knowledgeable and smart people of this forum! Kudos and huzzah to all!

 

Congratulations to everyone, this site and this community are something special and all of us are part of it. My approach to recorded music changed way over, when I discovered this site. To me this place began as a great resource but now is further more, a great place to exchange ideas and make friends despite our personnal tastes.
