I'm actually a vinyl fanatic, but found it extremely humorous.

I think that's supposed to be a Pro-Ject RM-10 (some geek had to point it out!).

    2. The only viable medium when I was a kid

(can I say 3? - static draws me to new vinyl)

    LOL!!

Count me in for the "best things in life require more effort" camp. I grill on my Weber charcoal grill, and my Porsches are aircooled, without any stinking traction control or stability management. Spinning vinyl was a given.

I'm with you. F the traction control. Live axle (screw the IRS) and RWD for me.

Nah, I am ok, I have a Clearaudio Ovation and a Transrotor Apollo. Speed is right on, wow is very low.

I was trying to be funny BTW, my friends who are listeningexclusively to digital, they are always teasing me about the speed accuracy of digital vs. analogue.
The truth is that I am very sensitive to speed variations and since I am listening a lot to classical/accoustic music it is very important to me. I have gone through a lot of different turntables through the years trying to find something that gets the speed right, and with my Clearaudio and my Transrotor I found what I was looking for.:righton:

I noticed that too; but is that specific to Nestorovics? :)

For example, some speakers are designed to operate right up against the wall; Linn, Naim, Guru, Rega etc. ... I have Naim Credos, sound amazing (vented as opposed to ported.) Most of the best speakers I've owned have operated that way.
