Only the Young were interested in Lovin Touchin and Squeezin, so now it’s the young’s Turn to cry.

DQ: When was the last time you played this compilation?

    R1: Be Good To Yourself
R1: When You Love A Woman
    R2: Send Her My Love
    R2: Girl Can’t Help It
R3: I’ll Be Alright Without You
    R3: Ask the Lonely
    R4: Only the Young
    R4: Lovin, Touchin, Squeezin

I cannot believe Faithfully stayed in the game longer that some of the other songs that have already been sent packing.

DQ: If I am going the compilation route, I have a Journey playlist that I go to more than this actual CD. Cannot remember the last time I played it cover to cover.

Both are Journey-by-numbers ballads, and not very good ones at that. Even in their heyday when I was 12 and LOVED all things Journey I couldn't stomach these two songs.
I rarely play the compilation anymore because I have the studio albums and I enjoy the deep cuts better anyway.

I voted off Who's Crying Now and Open Arms. Those two songs sound like something that Celine Dion would have done.

I'm only voting for Faithfully this round because it's so far below the others for me.

I hated to see "Send Her My Love" bow out so early, but I will be baffled if "Faithfully" survives over "Who's Crying Now."

i know that open arms is a ballad, but that vocal is superb. it would be sad for it to die today ... but lets see what the punters decide

Wheel in the Sky - never was a big fan.
Who's Crying Now? - good song, but I have to vote for something!

The voting in the next rounds will get tough.

I am wanting the Lights to go down on Open Arms this time around. If there are open Arms they should be in darkness.

DQ: I like all the albums so the real value of the compilation is that it gave me Only the Young and Ask the Lonely. I play it occasionally now but probably never straight through. It’s a great compilation but a playlist is better.

I smoked a lot of p-- to this album in high school. Excellent comp, but will have to go with Open Arms as the weak link.

classic line sung perfectly by a fantastic vocalist.

I went with Wheel and Faithfully. It wasn't easy, I think all of these songs are fantastic, nature of the beast I suppose, something has got to go.

DQ: Cannot play what I do not own.

DQ: I listened to this a ton in my younger years, but once the Time 3 set came out, that's where I go to hear Only the Young/Ask the Lonely. I think it's been about 2 or 3 years since I've listened to GH, and that was only because I listened through every album I own (took me 2 years!).

Who's Crying Now STAYS because of the monumentally great guitar coda. Heard it, played it perhaps a thousand times and it never loses it's allure.
