Am I missing something here? Why is this DVD already up to almost $7000?! Is this some special misprinted version? The seller provides no additional information that I could see. I mean, it was kind of funny, but not $7000 funny.

Something weird is up here...notice that all of the bidders have either 0 or 3 feedbacks. Some kids pulling some sort of internet stunt?

Seller probably screwed up and instead of a $10 opening bid listed it at $1000 (decimal points and all that "complicated" sales stuff ). The buyers are probably just screwing around - but it would be funny to hold them accountable...

Even if that's the case, $60.00 for a DVD that you can pick up for $10 in BB? The rappin' Granny was funny, but not THAT funny!

I was just in Costco this afternoon and saw copies of this movie for $8.99. Upon reading this post, I did buy up all of the copies they had and will be reselling them on eBay... I'll be offering them for the low, low starting price of $2999.99 each!!!!!

 

Plus, there are way too many "newbie" bidders there too. Rood says "I smell a fish". IOW, there's something up with this auction. Wouldn't even be surprised if a lot of these were shill bids. (Either the same person, or a group of friends, driving the price up.)

I saay we contact these bidders and offer them our $8.99 copies for a mere $3,000.
