Wild guess on the bass player, but, maybe Larry Klein?

Keith was just too untamed and undisciplined to have played jazz, although at his peak he did have amazing technical ability, in his own way. It was just totally out-of-the-box, and near impossible to replicate for anyone who came after him, though both Zak Starkey and Simon Phillips did a very good job, in different ways.

Entwistle probably could have hung with Tony in Lifetime or perhaps McLaughlin in Mahavishnu Orchestra. John was a monster.

I'm not sure, I would expect there would be some Who hits played as an encore.

I might be misremembering but I thought the Vegas return rumors were about 2019 so this doesn't necessarily preclude. THIS year is "Pete's year off."

Glad the Stockton Rog show I might actually go to is NOT an All-Tommy thing. While I recognize its greatness, it's the Who work I am least interested in revisiting these days for some reason. I'd honestly prefer an all-FACE DANCES show.

I typically see everything Who-related that comes through town, including solo shows, so naturally I expected to go to both Roger shows at Ravinia. Until I saw the prices...

$129/$140 for pavilion seats. Yikes! Sorry Rog, see you round the clubs.

I’d even prefer an all-It’s Hard show!

Actually the Tommy show is why I'm considering going.
I passed last fall when he was a couple hours away. But this is 1/2 hour.
I'm not a huge Tommy fan, but it could be interesting. (I'm not a huge Tommy fan but I like it better than Its Hard or Face dances)

Who(a) that is indeed a little steep! You would think they'd be 75% off the full ticket price.

The band's web site doesn't make that very clear. "The Who in 2018" is emblazoned on the top and a bunch of dates listed down below. A casual glance would leave you with the impression that Roger's dates are in addition to whatever The Who is doing.

I wasn't that thrilled last year by the news that the band was resurrecting "Tommy" but I changed my mind when I heard the Albert Hall Cancer Trust concert. It's really good.

OK, I’ve worked out a compromise!
    Ist set - Face Dances
    2nd set - It’s Hard
    Encore- highlights from Endless Wire!

I know why you want a set list like this. Because you’ll be one of just a few in the audience.
