Just saw this on Amazon UK, looks like the 2 disc CD is finally getting a vinyl release. Has anyone any more info on this release? It's showing as Live at Leeds, boxset Lp. Doesn't mention the Who but track listing shows disc 1 which is the same as Disc 1 of the Cd.

Ah, thanks for that Joe, think I might pre order this, I missed out on the super deluxe Leeds a few years back and ebay copies are prohibitively priced. Oddly, on the Who official site forum there is a thread advocating a new run of the Super Deluxe set for those of us who missed out first time. Good timing. Slainte, Danny.
If it's cut from the same mastering as the newer HDTracks version, this might end up being my favorite Who release of all time.
Hmm, the track listing seems to be the same as the 1995 extended version with only Amazing Journey & Sparks from Tommy.
I'm hoping that Amazon hasn't included the complete track listing & Tommy will be on the LP. Basing this on the assumption that a triple LP is way to much for the 14 tracks shown. Ordered & fingers crossed for the complete show.
Nice. Keep meaning to pull the trigger on a vintage copy, but it's so difficult to find one with all the memorabilia intact for a decent price. Hopefully this will fit the bill. Can't say I'm too fussed about the full live Tommy being omitted.
For what it's worth , I have the triple lp edition of Live at the Isle of Wight which includes the whole Tommy segment. Given that these shows are from the same era they are around, roughly, the same running time. So it might be possible to fit all of Leeds on there. I think Leeds might be a little longer. May affect the sound quality though.
Just received the Amazon "autorip" file. Seems to be the 1995 CD listing containing 14 songs, so no "Tommy". Just over an hour & a quarter of music so hardly 3 LPs worth of music so still hopeful! . "Heaven and Hell" (John Entwistle) 4:49 2. "I Can't Explain" (Townshend) 2:58 3. "Fortune Teller" (Naomi Neville) 2:34 4. "Tattoo" (Townshend) 3:42 5. "Young Man Blues" 5:51 6. "Substitute" 2:07 7. "Happy Jack" (Townshend) 2:13 8. "I'm a Boy" (Townshend) 4:41 9. "A Quick One, While He's Away" (Townshend) 8:41 10. "Amazing Journey/Sparks" (Townshend) 7:54 11. "Summertime Blues" 3:22 12. "Shakin' All Over" 4:34 13. "My Generation" 15:46 14. "Magic Bus" 7:48
I'm sure that I read somewhere that it is 2 discs and half speed mastered, think it was on the SDE website?
On a side note, this album is what really got me into The Who. I always kind of liked them, but once I got this and listened to it....I mean, Moon's playing on Heaven and Hell is absolutely incredible. It's like they come out and smash you in the face right away with their aggression. I love it!
