The Who, Small Faces, Fleetwood Mac etc Paris 1968 - live or miming?

I've just been watching this and wondering if the Who and Small Faces performances are live or synched. During Magic Bus for example, you can hear what is clearly an acoustic guitar, while Townshend strums a Gibson Les Paul. During the Small Faces you can hear horns and orchestral sounds.

But later into the film, for example with Booker T, it sounds much more live to me. Any comments about whether it's live, or some of it's live or whatever?
