Do we know who sings the emotional “yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah” during the fade of WMGGW?

    I hear Paul. Is it?

    I think it's George.

20 pages of debate that will degenerate into name calling and insults, here we go!

I think its a bit too passionate to be George. The “yeah’s“ have a bit of a throaty “Oh Darling” quality to them, no?

Its John (and then were all going to change our minds to Paul) :)

I just listened to it a little more closely, and I think it is Paul. Yelling 'Yeah, yeah, yeah' (or something to that effect), and trying to be louder than everyone else on songs was always his specialty.

I must admit I miss the lack of "yeahs" in the fade on the mono mix of "Gently Weeps" a helluva lot more than I miss the lack of "blisters on my fingers!!!" on the mono "Helter Skelter".

George's "yeahs" sound very impassioned. As 'indifferent' as the other Beatles might have been to the track they were well on it from the sound of the performance.

Here's hoping. It'll probably end with some emotional "yeah yeah yeah"s...

Yikes. To me it’s truly one of the highlights of this epic track. Play the last 20 seconds of the song and turn up the volume.

I always thought it was George and, yes, they elevate a great track even higher too.

Sounds like George to me, but could be Paul for sure.

Been some time since I've heard it but always assumed it was George, but could be Paul.
