In the 49-plus years since I first got the WA, I've never doubted that it was George.

Also hard to imagine GH allowing Macca to hijack what is so clearly a "statement" song.

Now if he'd just dialed down Lennon's porcine snorting in "Piggies"...

For all we know, it's Eric Clapton.

As Geoff Emerick stated in his book, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" was recorded outside, with the birds happily shouting "yeah, yeah."

George is doing the “moans” at the end of WMGGW, that nasally “oh, oh, oh” which happens at 3:54 just before Paul’s cutting “yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah” bit at 4:25

At least that’s how I hear it. George is weeping, Paul is wailing. There’s a difference. Paul was always the better wailer.

I definitely hear Paul. And it just seems more like something Paul would do.

The yeah yeahs are very clear in the Rock Band mixx. It sounds like George. But what I didn't know until I heard the RB mix, is that, what I thought was a keyboard at the end, was Paul vocalizing. That blew my mind.

It doesn't sound like George. And from what I understand they were down to their 8th and final track which were held for the vocals and there are parts in the "oh" and "yeah" sections where two voices are heard and overlapping, so that leads me to believe George handled the "oh's" and Paul took on the "yeah's".

Besides, it really sounds like Paul. If you close your eyes and really picture the scene at the microphone, it's only Paul that you'll see.

I just listened to the vocal track from the Rock Band game and I think it is George. You can hear Paul in the background doing the same high pitched vocalization as he was during George's earlier moaning part. Plus the in the isolated track, I can really hear the timbre of George's voice during those "yeah"s, to my ears.

Sounds like George to me moaning oh oh then at 4:26 he sings yeah yeah yeah.
Paul singing very high falsetto with vibrato during the entire outro.

The vocals are double tracked so there are at least 4 voices. John might be there too.

Since it was his song, I always thought it was George, actually. Now I wonder.

Ha ha. So predictable. Everything is Paul on this forum.

    This is clearly George.
