When I burn a CD using iTunes "
An error occurred while ejecting 'DVD RW drive (E:)"
Before it's done. The disc burns fine and I just ignore it but is there any reason this happens and any way to stop it from happening? Thanks folks

I don't know. I just know that iTunes is a royal PITA. For many reasons. If I burn music I use Windows lossless.

I'd say it depends on what operating system you use, but if the only problem is a non-error error, I'd just keep using iTunes and rolling your eyes at it. I don't really burn discs these days (or use iTunes), but if I did, the ability to burn right out of my library the way iTunes does would be very useful and I'd put up with mild idiosyncrasies like this.

Thank you. That puts my mind somewhat at ease. I just hope it's not a warning of problems to come.

Well, what machine and operating system are you running? I Googled "iTunes An error occurred while ejecting 'DVD RW drive" and some stuff comes up, but depends on OS/Hardware

Lol reminds me of the famous : "have you tried switching it off and on again ? ".

Same as the also famous : "is it plugged ? " answer to the question "my computer won't start"
