Even @ G- it's a score for the withdrawn mix of TNK.

They're just salty that they didn't score themselves. The sodium level on shtv can sometimes reach over 9,000.

Only two of them are mono. That's around $50 for the lot, which would be a fortune for thrift store records around here. Decent but hardly a scorchingly good find.

A copy of the 606-1 mono Revolver in VG condition just sold for $80 on eBay. The OP hasn't stated the grading for his copy, but said he played it and it sounded sweet.

I have a German Stereo pressing of Beggar's and it's a boxed Decca, red label and black boxed. I also have a mono unboxed. I thought all German stereos were boxed.

there seems to be some significance on the fact these finds may have been from a " thrift " store not a store I assume specialises in vinyl ??...In the UK such stores that have old records in are now few and far between ( we have charity shops but they only rarely have decent vinyl in them and they have got cute and have learnt to price up the more desirable discs accordingly ) so our vinyl is sourced at used vinyl shops ( often overpriced anyway ) and record fairs with a mixture of overpriced stuff but also some real gems and bargins. Anyway as such spending 32 pounds in a " thrift " could be regarded as a lot of money for a thrift store but I doubt it will result in the prices going up there or certainly not elsewhere as a result as some claim. Anyway I presume had the vinyl been found in a vinyl store then all those now saying the op overpaid would then say " good darts - bargain " ??

An XEX606-1 is not a common garden variety record in the US or the UK. Finding one by accident and getting it 8 pounds is a mega bargain. It would be somewhat equivalent to finding a RL LZ2 for $12.

It's always amazing to me how people really think spindle traces are some sort of accurate gauge for how a record is going to play. Especially in the case of these UK monos - anyone who owns some will tell you that they are tough old birds that can play great with a proper cleaning, and even more so when you have a mono button somewhere in your system.

The OP is a lucky bloke, plain and simple. :agree:
