I'd quite like to go to Joe Meek's flat while he was recording 'Telstar'.

Great post, but Waylon DID take the bus. In fact, I have 2 Bear family box sets to prove it ! ;):righton:

I had to consider my realistic options. In your scenario, I woulda had to pedal my Schwinn Stingray bike to Texas first.

A live concert choice...can there be any other than Hendrix at Monterey Pop? One of the greatest live performances ever.

Gee, where would that leave Bobby Vee in the grand scheme of things?

I was there, at the Garden.

Trust me, you would rather have seen a show on The River tour, of which I saw six.

    Easily his best shows.

I think a lot of us here did that in real time. It was a blast for me. Every memory intact in my mind where I can call up the moments, concerts, people, feel of the times at any second and simply.. be there again.

The brain is the coolest computer ever invented.

I'd go back and beat John Lennon by at least a year in writing "Strawberry Fields Forever", "I Am The Walrus" and "All You Need Is Love".
I'd also do the same for Paul McCartney..... writing "Paperback Writer", "Penny Lane" and coming up with a medley like side two of Abbey Road, only a year earlier on each.
But then, if I did that... the Beatles would disband soon after filming Help and then I'd be the scorn (read: Yoko) of most of the Beatles fans on this forum.

I'd go back to when I was just a tyke, and get my dad to invest in a 8mm camera.

    I've changed my mind.
If I'm only getting one trip back...
I'd arrange it so my Dad would meet Cheng.
He had answered the phone a few times when she called me,
but he never met her in person.
Dad died in June 1998 & started dating Cheng in December 1998.
We've just passed 10 years of marriage (last August).

I'd go back to the fifth day of creation, just to mess with God's mind. Just kidding, I'd pick something music related since this is a music forum. (PS nobody would go back and kill Hitler? Sheesh.)

The talent show (50s, I think) where a young Tom Rapp placed 3d, ahead of little Bobby Zimmerman in 5th place. "The winner was a girl in sequins who twirled a baton."
    I'd film that in HD.
But I'm not coming back just yet. There are gold coins, silver age comic books, 45s and LPs and big E levi's to pick up for the return trip.

Can I please just go back to early 1962 and stay for seven or eight years? I'll be back no later than 1970, I promise ...

    Second choice: 1982-88, same deal.
