Time Machine

    Sometimes when you listen to music you get the feeling that the performers have been transported into the room and that some singer/guitarist (whatever) is standing right in front of you - this isn't one of those moments. No this is different, I am listening to Duke Ellington - Brunswick Vocalion Rarities and the effect is one of being transported back in time - I keep thinking I will see Laurel and Hardy having a quiet drink (or not so quiet depending on whose half of the drink is on the bottom ;) ) at a table next to me.

    Ah yes! you are suffering from the "Sitting next to Sherlock smoking his pipe" syndrome. Quite common occurrence I must say. Check and see if he is in the vicinity, maybe the table next to you? :cool: :sigh:
