I saw him live on the HCE tour, he puts on a great performance, one of my favourite gigs.
Enjoy the gig for those that going.

I've never seen him do a bad gig...from ****ty little pubs in the 90's to the Albert Hall.

I'm starting to regret not getting a ticket.

This was not my favourite SW album... in fact it didn't really connect at all. Thus I decided to sit this tour out. Probably a mistake.

I left Permanating off my setlist suggestion.

I sat out the first Van Halen tour with Sammy because I didn't care for the Album. I still regret it to this day although I did catch them many years later.

I regret missing Van Halen for all the wrong reasons as well. They were supporting Black Sabbath in a 3,000 seater venue in 1978. I had good seats. Van Halen came out and gave it some. Lots of posturing and waving of hair and I thought "who are these ponces?" and went to the bar after one number. Later I found out Van Halen are great. My loss.

I've seen Wilson lots of times solo, and with Porcupine Tree, and No-Man, and will be at a bunch of these upcoming shows. Because of the new record, although I do like it, I'm not looking forward to it as much as previously.

But his shows are normally cracking good. I ain't going to the bar this time.

Setlist from the first night of the tour in Lisbon at the link below......

Steven Wilson Setlist at Sala Tejo, Altice Arena, Lisbon

With one obvious exception, perhaps not many surprises in the setlist?

I assume the setlist might change a bit on those dates with Ninet joining live?

I just got my ticket for the Seattle show. As for my continued listening to the album, I was pleasantly surprised how it opened up when I cranked it in the car. Usually dynamic range discussions label an entire album as either good or brickwalled, but I found an odd variation within this album. Permanating was an ear bleeder that had me turning down the volume but the rest sounded fine.

The set list seems to be changing. It was different about an hour ago. Not sure what the real set is.

Set list looks pretty stellar, regardless of what the order is.

  12. What do you think the odds are that I keep from seeing the setlist until the DC show in April? I'd love to not know but I don't think I can keep from looking until then!

Not easy coming up with a list that pleases everyone but I'd like him to find a spot in the show for the closer (Song of Unborn) before April.

That's a great set if correct.

I didn't, but two songs were revealed in a post. Suggestion - start a separate thread for the tour? Just a thought.

Last night's setlist looks great too. Nice to see them mixing up some of the PT songs...

Yes, once with the drummer, and once with a drum machine, for the "original experience".
