I second that motion. It's annoying, distracting and takes up too much space on the page.

Do you mean only animated .sigs, or are you including anti-Bose .sigs as well? I don't use mine all the time, but if it's a problem, I'll drop it.

 

My objection to them has nothing to do with content...I just find them annoying and visually distracting...as the Emperor said in Amadeus, "Too many notes."

I generally find the posts here informative, insightful, and thought-provoking. Animation only serves to take your eye away from the important stuff: one person's opinion.

I did like it. I would think, "How is he doing that?"

But I see the point, the animated sig I used is particularly distracting.

Even I get a headache looking at it.
