It also comes with a folder with a booklet with a history and full credits. The bonus disc is 9 tracks with songs from the shows Fridays, Top Of The Pops, Old Grey Whistle Test and some other things. There is also a pamphlet selling a few things like the coffee table book and 4 prints that you can find in Ebay auctions. These sets were overstock and were being blown out for 8 bucks back in late 2013 and for awhile after. In any event, this is streaming on Netflix for anyone who wants to see it, it's a great doc!

Nice added bonus to this set is the audio on the Santa Monica DVD, sounds absolutely fantastic and only has one common track to the main set (Too Much Ain't Enough), makes a nice companion piece to the stellar BD audio.

Before Hastings closed and a while after Best Buy stopped selling this title, I found quantities of sealed copies of the deluxe "Runnin' Down A Dream" DVD set for around $10 a piece. Kept 1 copy and gave the others away as gifts. Somehow, Hastings must've acquired Best Buy's unsold copies of the deluxe edition, although I do recall finding items which were exclusive to Target and Toys R Us being sold at Hastings.

I don't know how this works, but apparently Best Buy decided to dump their stock and made them available to other retailers because there were a bunch of sellers blowing them out on Amazon. I paid 8.36 + 3.99 on September 10, 2013 and they were plentiful back then.

I have just ordered from discogs this version that comes with blu ray. Cannot wait. Is it crankable on a good hi fi system?

The Blu-Ray hi-res is the best, most dynamic version available. You won’t be disappointed, guaranteed. The DVD’s in the Boston set are great as well.

Great... i was doubting whether to get the vinyl edition but i hate having to stand up and change sides. So thought it d be a nightmare with so many vinyls and sides. .

I think the 5CD with "Live Leg" LP from 2009 was priced around $100 USD when it first hit store shelves. Although it was a Best Buy exclusive, limited quantities did end up available for sale through some discount retailers. While traveling for work, I managed to find a sealed copy on clearance for around $25 at a Best Buy store.

The box is arriving within 1 hour according to DHL but I'll be stuck at work. I hope this one sounds better than my recent neil young greatest hits dvd which for me wasn't that pleasant to my ears (a bit too harsh sounding)...

Blu-ray is a must have! A nearly 5 hr petty show. Very sweet! Even the shows were recorded decades apart, they segued perfectly. Hats to the compiler and engineer.
