At least it's promising to see some individual release pre-orders. I can't see myself picking up the box but am definitely interested in Wildflowers and She's the One.

It's been up there for about a year now; just a 'place setter'.

I got the email from Soundstage Direct as well. I sure hope this box comes to fruition.

100% agree. I listen to both of them just as much as Wildflowers.

    Yep. A perfect trilogy.

I've now seen three websites that are attributing this release (the vinyl boxset) to Record Store Day in November.

Actually it's been listed as "TBA" on Music Direct and Acoustic Sounds since 2013.

Yes, but it's unclear whether or not this is an RSD exclusive or just being released on the same date. I suppose it could be the latter as an "exclusive box" with the titles later released individually.

Yeah, right on. Just saying I've seen the boxset on several sites with all of the other Fall 2016 RSD announced releases on the same list.

Yeah, good to have a (seemingly) firm release now :righton:

So excited about this. Wonder about individual releases as I have most in Vol 1. Time to think about selling my Wildflowers now while I can still get some good cash for it.

I would guess these 2 boxes will not get a UK/European release is that right? Box one would be enough for me.

No word on single releases yet huh?

Yeah; you should do that quickly if you're thinking about it. Petty's vinyl has gone way down in the last few weeks on eBay because of this rumored set.

I'm guessing single releases next year...

I'm curious if they are still doing a Wildflowers re-issue with all the bonus material that has been talked about.

I thought that was a completely separate thing....not including the actual Wildflowers albums, just the leftovers.

I thought so too but it seems odd to have a box set that includes the original release and then do a separate re-issue with the bonus material. I'm sure some people would be pissed to find out that the Wildflowers in their box set doesn't include all the bonus materials that the separate re-issue would have.

Hopefully we get individual releases. I already have Wildflowers, Highway Companion, Mojo and Hypnotic Eye on vinyl. Would be tough to shell out $260 for Last DJ, She's the One and Echo. (Tempting though!)

For $40 cheaper? How do they get away with that?

Very tempting. I'll throw out the obligatory..."need to see who's doing the mastering and pressing" before I can commit further.

    I hope not!

It is interesting to see that UME and WMG releasing the 2 Boxes at the same Time.

It will be interesting to see, who has remastered HC wich was originally done by our host.
    My guess is Chris Bellman.

There is something like a press-release.
