Tomorrow is a sad anniversary for fans of rock guitar

Two wonderful guitar players,I always liked Zappa as a guitar soloist and Bolin did some wonderful things in his unfortunately short life/career.Bolin's legacy and reputation unfortunately had been severely tainted for many years after his death due to the woeful Deep Purple live album that came out after he died.I remember distinctly a friend of mine(DP freak) telling me to avoid Come Taste The Band at all costs (he hated funky music or anything like it and I found yrs later that's why he hated it) and I remember a radio show in 1987 where for some reason they played the live Smoke On The Water (w/Bolin) and I thought "He is **** !".Thanks to the Bolin family and their reissues of his stuff I know better now.
