I had to google that speaker shower head to see if it was a gag. It's a real product! Looks like I will be off to Home Depot this weekend and doing a little home improvement project. Maybe I should get a bigger water heater too so the hot water doesn't run out while I'm listening to music.

Did you try the Chord Chordette Qoute HD DAC, with a Hynes external PSU, or any other after market PSU?

I once had the Octave Pre 500 phono and the mono blocks 130 with the black boxes, they were truly great pieces of equipment. So I can only imagine what the big Octaves mono blocks are like. Sometimes I envy you for your sonic adventures as a reviewer for TonAudio:)

Love to have that Tung-Sol box.
My stash of tubes are in cedar cigar boxes...from an island 40 miles south of Miami.
I see you do nice wines. Send me one of your cameras and I'll do a review of cigars, and I'll say I'm from any country but the USA, which is the only country that boycotts the island south of Miami.

Thanks for another great issue, Jeff. My disc spinner just died and I was on the fence about replacing it (I'm well into the music server and hi rez download thing) but your mag's review of the Oppo 105 pushed me to pull the trigger on that.

The best thing about this issue for me though was the review of Tuareg Guitarist/Singer Bombino's new album on Nonesuch. I sampled it on MOG and was blown away. Needless to say I grabbed everything I could find by the guy, this is he coolest new music I have heard in a long time.

It's all about the music and it is so clear that you guys get that.

    Nice job.

Bombino is amazing. Check out his previous album Agadez.

Also check out his intl label, Cumbancha. Lots of amazing artists.

I'll just echo what others have said and thank you for a great e-mag for free. Few things in this hobby consistently deliver for no big cash outlay.
