In order of actual listening time over the past year:

    1. Revolver - mono reissue vinyl
2 The Beatles White Album - mono reissue vinyl
    3. Sgt Pepper - mono reissue vinyl
    4. Sgt Pepper - 50th remix vinyl (on the list cuz I played it often this year. Likely will not be touched again for a while)
    5. Hollywood Bowl - US vinyl
    6. The Beatles 2nd Album - US mono CD
    7. Rock 'n Roll Music comp - US stereo vinyl, side 1 (Geo Martin remix, centering bass)
    8. Abbey Road - UK stereo vinyl
    9. Yellow Submarine Songtrack - US CD (vinyl arriving shortly)
    10. Live at the BBC - CD (playlist that matches Yellow Matter Custard boot)

Special mention for The Rutles Lunch, the Love satire. If you haven't heard it, do a search. Brilliant, played it a lot.

    Sgt. Pepper
    Hey Jude
    Abbey Road
    Revolver
    Yesterday and Today
    Let It Be
    Rubber Soul
    Yellow Submarine

Until and unless proper remixes are done. I don't put Pepper in the "proper" column.

But doing it right IS possible. For instance Paperback Writer on 1+. It's amazingly good, no need to listen to the mono again except for nostalgia's sake.

john lennonist There ONCE was a NOTE, PURE and EASY...

I'm only considering the UK albums:

    1. White Album

    2. (tie) With the Beatles (Mono)
    2. (tie) A Hard Day's Night
    2. (tie) Revolver
    2. (tie) Abbey Road

    6. Rubber Soul (Mono)
    7. Please Please Me (Mono)
    8. Sgt Pepper (Mono)
    9. Let it Be
    10. Help!

(Note: I don't consider either "Magical Mystery Tour" or "Yellow Submarine" to be albums, so...)

    Good answer!

Revolver is their masterpiece to me. I really hope it gets some special re-issue treatment like Pepper’s soon.
