The Mothers of Invention-Weasels Ripped My Flesh (Germany 1969) This was the (already bizarre) US version for those not familiar.
From the "Could You Walk On Water?" photo shoot of December, 1965. Definitely not a lava flow. That whole series of photos with Brian in the red pants was taken in Griffith Park during a break from the recording sessions at nearby RCA studios in Hollywood. Of course, one of the shots eventually wound up being the cover of "High Tide And Green Grass."

There is also the "crown jewels" series from an era of copyright loopholes in late 1971/early 1972. I saw this one in a dollar bin not long ago. Didn't buy.
This album is, of course, renowned for featuring Beatles classics that can be found nowhere else, including “Diggies,” “Dear Prvdele,” and “Savoy Truttie.” Not to mention the exclusive groundbreaking mashup done decades before the Love project: “Happiness Is A Warm Magical Mystery Tour.”

... I've seen some people who like it, probably because it was very common and it's a reminder of their youth. But this french "Electric Ladyland" totally blows. And I wonder, to this day, whose hand and arm it was. It'd be fun to talk to this guy. As for the original Band of Gypsys from the UK, they made Jimi right handed...
