I am trying to find a stand or platform for my desk where I can place a turntable on top and then a small integrated amplifier underneath in the cubby. I have tried some different search terms on Google but I am not having a lot of luck.

Something along the lines of this only not so tall. Any ideas? Thanks!

Thorens love light weight coffee tables, so the world is your oyster.

I would very strongly suggest you consider Ikea 'Lack' tables, they're the right size, cheap, lightweight, no high mass, and available in several colours.
With a good small saw you can cut them down to whatever configuration you need. I used one with an extra top for my Marantz TT15i.

Hi, I don't really understand your reply. I am looking for a small stand or platform that I can place on my desk.

Thanks for the suggestion but those tables are too large. I need something that is more like an 18" x 14" footprint. It will be placed on the right side of my desk with the Sprout underneath...

A 2-shelf Flexy Rack with 12" rods is easy and cheap to make.

This is a bit of an interesting request. Normally from what I see people just want a record player stand, not something that can fit on a desk. The Nexera Audio Tower comes to mind, but it's probably too big. Just do a Google search or you could probably find it on Amazon.

Have you considered building a stand yourself?

This is a good solution. You say it's cheap to make, did you build it yourself? Total cost?

This is my rack from HIFI racks in the U.K. It holds over 150lbs and comes assembled. I just had to install it into the wall studs and voila!

Awesome set up! It looks like mounting it to the wall in this case is the way to go.

I agree that the TNT FleXy is an excellent idea for building to your own specs, worked for me.

Nice, that's not bad at all. It looks like you used a few solid pieces of wood. It's also nice and open. I'm definitely taking notes...

I really like that. Would probably prefer a shelf for the receiver to keep it off the floor, but really, really like this idea. :righton:

Update: you might also be able to find something you like here http://premier-recordsinc.com/best-of-player-stands-cabinets-tables-consoles, that's if you didn't end up going with Spsesq's cool wall mount idea.
