Whoops, you are correct! A brain freeze, literally, I'd just come in from shoveling and my brain had totally froze...really.

If anyone knows who did this, I'd love to find out. I think there was another version of the visual for this commercial.

I've always liked this song (from the 80s, no less) and I'm surprised to
see/hear that's it's used as the "bed" for a recent commercial.
It's for Elite Singles, an online dating service in Canada. Only a portion
    of the instrumental is used:

'The First Picture of You" - The Lotus Eaters.

"Boy Are Boys And Girls Are Choice" by the Monks. Just by their obscurity it has to be one of the most unlikeliest songs ever to appear in a commercial.

A number of years ago Target Stores used this bossa-nova styled song, sung by Peggy Lee.

There's a recent TV ad for a Canadian mutual fund company, Fidelity Investments, where they use a short clip from the classic ska track 'A Message To You, Rudy' by The Specials... just the one line "Better think of your future..."

It really works for some reason... I see it and hum the song all day... and I remember the commercial... which is the whole point.

Never liked it. It trivializes music. You connect to a song personally but for the artist it is just a disposable product on sale. It felt so disappointing when I was young. I was too idealistic about music. Now I don't really care. I admire Gandhi and Mother Teresa for something. And that's about it. I still like music. :)

Look, for the first time ever I heard "Can't find my way home" in a tv-commercial ad for i believe a series (drama). by the end of the commercial I was ballin'! The track completely enhanced whatever drama was happening onscreen 11-fold. If I ever meet that director I will tell him his drama of whatever it was just got assisted big time by the Winwood track. I kind of wish it was saved for maybe, a more significant visual art like an important movie, etc...

This guy was surely doing weird things underneath his raincoat. Not to mention what he was doing on top of a lighthouse. A paint ad? Pffft. It was a cover story for clandestine, shady activities:
