That was fun. A little difficult for me to evaluate listening through the speakers on my iPad mini, but the reissue sounds a little bass heavy and the RCA pressing sounds a little livelier. I'd like to hear the explosion played back from both pressings (and on a better sound system than the iPad).

I have a later RCA club issue on the black Mercury label. Wouldn't surprise me if the deadwax was the same as your earlier pressing. I think it sounds quite good, but it's the only vinyl version I've heard. It is certainly much better than the cd versions I've heard.
